My name is Rickey Chandler.  In November of 08’ I was introduced to
the Rickles.  If you would have asked me then, “Ricky, where are you
heading?,”  my answer  would have been “Nowhere!”  God spoke
through Kevin and reminded me of whom I really was.  A child of the
King, an heir to the throne, a man of God.  I have spent nearly my whole
life running from God.  I have made so many bad choices, been in many
wrong places and I had allowed too many things of this world to take over
my life.  This only led to a life of shame.  I was always hiding from God
and my family.  My heart was full of darkness, but one day God showed me
His mercy and endless love, and my eyes were finally opened.  It wasn’t
until then that I could see all the disappointment and pain that I had caused
my family.  Now I see clearly how my choices where destroying me.  I am
a new man, because Jesus Christ broke through the darkness and brought me
such light.  I’m not perfect and God is still working my life out, but now I
have hope where I never had hope before.  A few months ago I was sad and
miserable and going nowhere.  Today God has restored so much joy to me
and now I am a man with a vision.  I have been asked to join the Rickles to
go finish a family’s home in the far away land of Africa.
